The motto of the village is Non Segnis Quies Ruris which may be translated as the Rural quietness is not laziness or as Fiott tanslates it, Farm solitude is not indolence. Dingli’s emblem is segmented diagonally in four triangles: two light blue facing each other horizontally and two red ones facing each other vertically, all separated with a white band.
