Services Offered by the Dingli Local Council

Collection of refuse by the door-to-door scheme every day including Sunday’s and Public Holidays

Monday to Friday (including all public holidays): 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Street Sweeping is practiced from Monday to Friday by two Local Council workers

Free Internet access during office hours

It can be accessed from the Dingli Local Council offices during office hours. However we suggest you to contact us to reserve your access time.

Bulky refuse collection

The local council gives a free service for the collection of bulky refuse. Contact us on one of our contacts to give us your necessary details.

Applications for passports

Applications can be collected from our offices. One should also note that the Mayor and the Executive Secretary can fill up you recommendation section on this application.

Bring-in Sites

We offer a free service for the separation of wastes. The site where our bins are situated is in Buskett next to Villa Psaigon. We encourage the general public to make use of such a service.

Payment of Bills

The Local Council offers the services for payments of:

• Police and Local Wardens' Contraventions
• Rent on Government Property
• Trading Licenses

Permits

Permits for the activities for cranes and other functions shall be obtained from the Local Council offices.

Library

The public library is situated in the Dingli Primary School. It opens every Wednesday from 2.30pm till 4.30 pm and on Saturday mornings between 10 till noon.
